I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide. During my internship and post-graduate years, I dedicated myself full time to clinical work and completed over 3,500 direct client hours. That experience allowed me to work deeply with individuals, couples, and families and shaped the therapist I am today. I continue to pursue independent trainings whenever I can to keep expanding my knowledge and skills.
I was trained by a social worker who specialized in relational, family, and couples work, alongside a marriage and family therapist, and I continued my education with a psychodynamic therapist. This combination of relational training and psychodynamic depth taught me how to understand relationship patterns and the ways childhood experiences show up later in life. It gave me a strong foundation and confidence in my work.
I feel genuinely energized by supporting clients through meaningful change. Watching people experience emotional relief, healthier relationships, and clearer direction is incredibly rewarding. Whether clients stay together, separate, or divorce, success is defined by what brings them peace and alignment. Doing this work feels natural to me, and I show up with presence, care, and curiosity in every session.nd curiosity in every session.
What are sessions like with me?
Intake Session
The intake is a bit boring — I’ll say that upfront — but I promise it will be over before you know it. We go through informed consent, the legal and ethical essentials, and I gather background information with my laptop open. At the same time, I’m focused on building rapport and helping you feel comfortable. I’ll also check in with you about fit, and if I ever believe your needs fall outside my scope, I’ll be transparent and help you find the right therapist. If we’re a match, we simply book the next session and begin the real work.
Ongoing Sessions
Most sessions begin with whatever stands out from the week. I create space for clients to talk freely, and then I bring in interventions that support insight, emotional clarity, and relational change. I’m not big on homework, but I do like offering a “focus of the week” at the end of a session — something to reflect on without pressure. My goal is for sessions to feel grounded, natural, and genuinely helpful.
